Hello Guys,

I have a 9i single instance DB and needs to upgraded to 10g RAC,
If possible 10g RAC with ASM.
Could you pls provide me with some document link or how it can be done?
As i understand, for RAC the datafiles needs to be on shared disks. So while upgrading how oracle/CRS would treat the existing volumnes as shared. Do i have to perform some OS level scripts as well?

I am using Oracle 9i on Sun 5.8. and need to upgrade to 10g R2 RAC.

Thanks in advance.
