I have Oracle 10.2.0.2 on Solaris 5.9. I have Sun server v240 with 2 processors. We have lot of processdaemons running on client machines and they look for the job in every minute and for that they make dedicated connection with the database server.
Sometimes i found that database hanged and then i check through OEM and get the hanged session. Sometimes the java daemon even just having connection and nothing is running on that but still in OEM it show that sid related to processdaemon hanged and all the sessions then gets in hanged state. Then i need to kill the sid related to processdaemon and all the process start running.
I have tried to find out the cause but still did not get any success.
Can you please help me resolve the problem.

Thanks in advance
Gulshan
