Hi,

We are in the process of migrating Oracle10gR2 database from Windows to Linux and we would like to explore the transportable tablespace option. Oracle documentation says that the character sets have to be the same...is that the final word? It can't be done? Has anyone tried it with different character sets and got it to work?

Thank you.
