problem in running form from web through forms server [message #251523]

hi friends,

I have installed forms 6i server on my PC
[operating system is XP & ram is 256 mb]
I have installed it in both way (typical & custom).
But when i am running a form thro web.The error message comes as
page cant be displayed.

when running by already existing html page afetr installing server. i am giving these inputs:

web host name as localhost
port as 9000

At the time of installation it asks for the port where i give this port value.

I also configure the .cfg file.

I am running the form from web like this,
http://localhost:9000/

after entering it goes into loading and never comes out.

What is else required to successfully run the form from web.

Based upon my acient memories, Forms 6 is client/server & did NOT support web forms.
IIRC, Forms 6 has not been support any time this century. You should upgrade to the 21st century s/w.

Hi,
Forms 6.0 did not support web forms, but Forms 6i supported web forms. So this should actually work.

Maybe there is no JInitiator loaded on the browser side.
