I set pfile during startup as I deleted old one. Each time I start the database I have to provide pfile destination. How I can save it permanently.

SQL> startup;
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters
LRM-00109: could not open parameter file '/oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_2/dbs/initTEST.ora'
SQL> startup pfile='/oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_2/dbs/spfileTest.ora';
ORACLE instance started.

Total System Global Area 612368384 bytes
Fixed Size                  1281648 bytes
Variable Size             167772560 bytes
Database Buffers          436207616 bytes
Redo Buffers                7106560 bytes
Database mounted.
Database opened.

SQL> show parameter pfile;

NAME                                 TYPE        VALUE
------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------
spfile                               string

SQL> shutdown immediate;
Database closed.
Database dismounted.
ORACLE instance shut down.
SQL> startup
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters
LRM-00109: could not open parameter file '/oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_2/dbs/initTEST.ora'

I used,

alter system set spfile='.....';
But it does not work. I need to set before starting up. What is the command as well as procedure..Thanks
