hi all, i know it is not a good question , but i am really confused about this thing,
what is thread# in v$log view means, and why should it be a part of archivedlog files to be unique,
ur reply will be highly appreciated.

thread# is only meaningful in RAC environment.
It shows the logs associated with each instance.
