Hi,

I'm new in Advanced Queuing.
I'm using an queue with async. notification.
My callback procedure will be called for every message, but its everytime the same job, so only one message will be procced at one time.
Is it possible to configure oracle, to use more processes.
I don't mean dispatch the same message to many consumers.

Anybody out there who knows ??

the answer is simple,

ALTER SYSTEM SET job_queue_processes = 8;

an 4 processes will be used, but why only 4 not 8 ??

If I switch job_queue_processes to 10, 5 processes will be used.
