hi there, i wish if anyone can help me or at least give me a hint!!!
in my application i do send report automattically by outlook... when i try 2 open the attachmen, report in pdf format, i got this error...hope i fond an answer!!!

and the answer 2 ur question is i did change the extanstion from rpt to pdf
like this
lFileName := 'S:\Tara\report-System\rpts\doc2.pdf'||:block76.doc_num||'.pdf';

thanks alot dear... the idea clear 2 me... but how 2 make pdf file????
when i create report in oracle report 6i it saved as .rpt, how can i make it as PDF???

One way is to install a virtual PDF printer. It is a software which allows you to print the output into a PDF file - you'll see it as if it was a real printer. So, instead of printing onto your HP2200 printer, you'd use that "PDF printer". One of free PDF writers is CutePDF.
