Please see the result after Querying DBA_Constraints view.

CONSTRAINT_NAME C DEFERRABLE DEFERRED VALIDATED
__________________ _________ _________ __________

EMP_JOB_NN C DEFERRABLE DEFFERRED NOT VALIDATED

can you please explain if C denotes the check constraint , then why the answer for this question is written as Not Null constraint.

Thank you.

I see a check constraint, I don't see anything refering NOT NULL (except the NN postfix, Oracle standard naming for Not Null).

Hi,
There is no special constraint type in oracle for NOT NULL constraints.
If you check in dba_constraints for any NOT NULL constraint, the constraint_type has the value 'C'.

Since "_NN" is a standard name for NOT NULL constraints,
the answer is correct.
