how can i remove the -ve value when m doing this supply_qty-aggrementd_qty then some -ve value also come when m using format trigger for removing this then grand total not come only one frame value come ok plz help

Please do some formatting as suggested by LF. You can use abs function and others functions are also available if you did not not want negative value.

Hi,

I am using "abs" function to avoid negative figure while printing. However, If the value is -ve, I would like to show within bracket.

For example -1234.44 should print (1234.44)

Any idea?

Write your own report formula column; it should return a CHARACTER (bracket + numbers + bracket). Depending on a number sign, return either a (formatted?) number or bracket-enclosed-string.

It is good idea. But I have to use two column, one is for printing purpose and another for summary.

In Crystal reports, it has the in built facility to print the negative figure within bracket.

Hope Oracle report's next release will have this facility.
