Hi friends,

Need help to resolve this bug.

While login with sys as sysdba. Unable login even with the normal user like scott,..

ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

Oracle is NOT running so start it.

Hi,

Thanks for the prompt response.

Hope after sqlplus run successfully with the respective user oracle can start its instance.

Oracle encounter the above mentioned error while login with sys as sysdba.

Hi , Your db is not started that's why you are getting this error. This is not related to sysdba login.

What OS name & version?
Which version of Oracle to 4 decimal places?
Other than the error message we know nothing what you are doing.

Database is not up, have u done any changes in the os level. Check the alert log file and update the error message in alert_log file.

Elobarate more on the

Operating System
Version
Database Version
