Hi all,
I recently joined this forum.
Its been 8 months working as a fresher in TCS as a Pro*C developer on Unix platform.
Now before confirmation i want to give one certification exam.
Tell me the difference b\w the two.Which exam i should write and prepare for?
Also the book i should refer.
Thanks in advance
Prachi

I guess you should go for OCA as it has more of a developer perspective, while OCP is tailored more along the lines for the DBA stream.
And given your experience in Pro*c, you should not have a problem with the SQL and PL/SQL papers.
For books, a lot of them are available for free download ( google it) and you should be able to find exam cram guides in most libraries.
Regards
Thomas.
