Hi All

I have 2 databases on Oracle 10g on solaris 9. Both the databases are in noarchive log mode and the size of databases is more than 1.5 GB each.
Now i have to make the backup strategy for the database and give the report to the management.

What are the important steps i should keep in mind for making the backup plan.

What are the other third party softwares available for this like RAID, veritas or any other.

If possible then please provide me the good link that help me make the backup and recovery plan.

Thanks in advance

If these databases are of any worth, first turn the archivelogging on.
