cannot remove Job from Report Queue Manager [message #236524]

Hi All,

Although I am logged into the Oracle Reports Queue Manager as an ADMIN, I am never able to Remove jobs. The Remove Option is always DISABLED (even when I try the "EMPTY CACHE NOW" button in the Queue Properties) and even from the Report Server Queue Status Console:

http://myAPPSERVER:7778/reports/rwservlet/showjobs?server=rep_reportservername

Can someone help here?

Still the issue persists but just to let you know that I am able to REMOVE jobs that are in the Scheduled List (i.e. they are running or pending jobs).

I have the same issue. I can delete the job from the rw_reports_queue view but the report is still produced.

If I try and cancel the job using the report server URL I get the following:

REP-56071 Security Check failed with error message: No privilge to do the operation

Is there an API or alternative method to remove jobs from the queue please?

Are you sure you are logged on as the owner of the job that you want to remove? If not, the Remove choice is disabled.
