hi,
first i connected as / as sysdba
then i created another user

create user oradba identified by password;
grant connect,resource,create session to oradba;
grant dba to oradba;

then i connected as conn oradba/password as sysdba .

it connected !! i didnt grant SYSDBA privilege to oradba user,still i connected.Can someone explain me how

1/ Dont' use connect, resource roles they are obsolete
2/ Avoid use of DBA role, create your own "dba" role
3/ Don't use SYS for anything but dbatabase maintenance purpose (startup, shutdown, restore)
4/ It connects as sysdba only because you are in OS dba group (often "dba" in Unix and ORA_DBA or ORA_<SID>_DBA in Windows)

instead of that, what we can use in future versions ?

Create your roles then you know what is inside and that fit your requirements.
