Hello,

We have an Oracle 10g with cluster service running on Windows 2000 Advance Server. We would like to migrate this from NT to AD. It also have a CX300 Storage array as its Database repository. Server A is the main handling oracle resources and Server B serves as its backup. Have you already experience migrating this setup? If you do, Please teach me how to do it.

Thank you very much,
Ayeah

Depends on your size.
export/import will be simple (if size is small).
you can use transportable tablespaces with RMAN.

Hello,

Thanks for your response.
Sorry, but I am still new in oracle, can you please elaborate Razz

What we are planning to do is shutdown the database and migrate the cluster server 1 by 1.

Have you already encountered this scenario?

thanks,
Ayeah Razz

Good day,

We have tried to migrate our cluster server from NT to AD.
We first tried the migration on our backup server then tried to connect the Storage device(DELL EMC CX300) but we cannot access nor connect to the database.

Do you have any experience regarding this?

Badly need your help guys.

thanks,
Ayeah
