Hello sir

I am very new to RMAN backup

ur data_files total size 371Gb
if i run RMAN command to take full backup by using the following below command
>backup database
It shows RMAN completed.

there r 3 files r generated

1.df_new_102_620668930 with 103GB (time17:33)
2.df_new_103_620668912 with 106GB (time18:57)
3.df_new_104_620668964 with 105GB (time 20:17)

so total RMAN backup file size(314GB)
so actual size differ from RMAN backup file size
Log files shows "Recovery Manager complete".

I dont know how to analyse whether RMAN backup is complete or incomplete

plz help me
Thanx in Advance.

It is complete (as it said you).
RMAN does not backup blocks that are never been used.
Moreover, it does not backup temporary (tablespace) files.

Michel
