Does anyone know what the problem is with the 10g r2 Enterprise Manager Java console? I installed this on my Windows XP desktop so I could manager my 10g database remotely since my company has the port blocked for the web console. The EM java version hangs and when I pull up the table data and click on the left side to get the option to insert or delete a row those options no longer appear. I tried increasing the memory by changing:
if "%ORACLE_OEM_JAVAMX%" == "" set ORACLE_OEM_JAVAMX=-mx128m , to 256 but that didn't help. What's interesting I can use the 9i EM Java console to admin the 10g database and I have no problem, but don't know if down the road this might cause trouble since I am using a 9i client for a 10g database. Yes,I have the 9i EM and the 10g EM client installed in two different Oracle Homes. Anyone know what the problem is of how to fix?
