Hi,

I have installed Oracle 10g2 in my machine but I could not start the Listener, It give an error message "The OraDb10g_homeTNS Listener services on local computer stared and stopped.....'

Any help appreciated

Well I search for some logs this is what it says

OS problem; not Oracle problem.

I suspect that the user trying to start listener does not have WRITE privs to create the listener.log file.

Do you know how to give permission ? In my machine I am the Administrator and the user...
