Hello,

i want to make a connection from oracle to sql server.
i have changes inithsodbc.ora file and also add a listener in listener.ora file and tnsname in tnsnames.ora file.
from command prompt i start the listener.its working, then i ping the tns ,its also working fine, then i create a database link...
but when i query a table from sql server its give me the following error:

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-02068: following severe error from TEST
ORA-03135: connection lost contact


can anybody resolve my issue. oracle and sql server r on different machines, machines r connected through netwrok...

Check the timeout parameters in sqlnet.ora.
