what is the difference between run_report_object and run_product for running reports?

1)run_product that can be used to run report through form,and form through report
while
2)run_report is used with one reports to call other reports

in brifly,

1)Form ---------> Reports

2)Reports ---------> Reports

Few Clarifications required:-
1)Can we use Run_product in forms9i/10g to call Reports? If not, is it obsolete?
2)what is the logic used in both? i mean where are the temporary files created and in what format does the report build by default in bothe the cases?

In Forms 10g, you'd better use WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT instead of RUN_PRODUCT. A true Forms expert, David, suggests that all over the Forms forum. Search for those keywords and read more about it (you could have done that hours ago. Why didn't you?).

Hi,
I guess.. Web.show_document is for displaying a created document. But before that we need either run_product or run_report_object for creating it. correct me if i am wrong.
