Organising tradeshows relies very much on contacting the right exhibitors and inviting the right visitors. Thus, acquiring, enriching, correcting and querying data about these two categories of customers is particularly important for easyFairs. Also, in order to promote ‘cross-selling’ between the different easyFairs offices, the data has to be managed centrally. The role of the Data Manager is to operate this database and ensure the quality and accuracy of the data. This implies several tasks:
* Defining the Data Strategy
* Designing and operating the centralised database infrastructure
* Operating the infrastructure and servicing the local offices
Skills needed
* Advanced SQL
* Installation, configuration and maintenance of at least one of the major database engines (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, MySQL, …)
* Very good spoken and written English
* One or several scripting languages (preferably PERL)
* One or more data warehousing and business intelligence products
Optional skills:
* Software development
* Geo-marketing tools
* Microsoft NAVISION

Kind regards,
Nick
