What OS name & version on both server & client?
What verion Oracle DB to 4 decimal places?
What version Forms?
Admirable goal, but poor/unrealistic implementation plan.

Hi,
data backup for their
security,they use this process

Then you know first EXP / IMP is not BACKUP METHOD.
It is just DATA MOVING TOOLS.

Hi,
Data Security Depand on Recovery and Recovery depand on Backup.
You should look below link

and plan your proper backup.
http://www.oracle.com/pls/db10g/portal.portal_demo3?selected=3#index-BAC
Backup depand on Database Type
1.Database Running in ARCHIVE LOG MODE / NO ARCHIVE LOG MODE
2.How much you have Downtime.
3.Which Backup you want to use.
1.RMAN
2.User Managed Backup
