Our client, a well-known multinational has a need for an experienced Oracle Developer for a 4-6 week contract in Victoria, BC.
Oracle Applications Developer with OA extensions.
Working knowledge of the role and 3+ years experience:
Working as an application designer or developer on ERP applications including Oracle Financials particularly Contracts and PO modules
Oracle production environment providing problem resolution services
Experience in designing and developing complex functional and technical specifications for a large scale transaction based applications
Experience in programming and testing complex modules for a large scale enterprise application
Experience with RUP base methodologies
Experience in design, development and modeling of use cases using automated tools
Experience in the creation and maintenance of Software Architecture Document (SAD)
Experience with Oracle Forms and PL/SQL
Experience with Java and Jdeveloper
Experience with SQL Server databases
Experience with XML or XML with DTD
Ability to work with tight timeframes and deliver on commitments
Team player
Tasks will include:
Developing, enhancing, testing and documenting using Oracle OA extensions, Java, PL/SQL
Providing quality assurance on work performed
Supporting migrations
Providing technical advice and recommendations
Transferring knowledge to employees and other contractors
