Hi,
I have configured listerner.ora and tnsnames.ora for my database instance on the Solaris Server.
I started the listener successfully and I am also able to ping it using the "tnsping" command.
But on executing the followin command,
LSNRCTL> show trc_directory
I got the following error:
Connecting to (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=hcssun03.satyam.com)(PORT=1527)))
TNS-12541: TNS:no listener
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00511: No listener
Solaris Error: 146: Connection refused
Can anyone please tell me the root of the problem and the possible solutions.
Thanks
Amit
