RAC on IBM AIX 5.3 [message #226558]

Hi All,
i am implemeting RAC 9i 9.2.0.1 database on AIX 5.3. For the database filese i am using raw devices. i installed the software successufully on node1 and it automatically installed the software on second node no eroror occur. now when i am trying to RAC database through DBCA it shows me two option.
1. Cluster Database
2. Single Instance Database.

when i select a Cluster Database and click on next then it ask me to run gsd (global service daemon)
and i open another telnet connect and use the command
"/u00/app/oracle/product/9.2.0/gsdctl start" to start the gsd but it gives me message that "Fail to run gsd on local node" and when i check the status using
"/u00/app/oracle/product/9.2.0/gsdctl stat" then it give a message gsd is not running on local node. even i try to stop then it gives me message
faild to stop gsd on local node.
