Just an FYI to my Oracle friends.

Last week I stumbled across a website sponsored by Confio that provides a monthly quiz that allows you to test your knowledge of Oracle.

This quiz is crap. It is just an advertisement for Confio and SQL Server. There are NO Oracle questions. Don't bother, but if you do, don't use your real name or email address.

for testing purposes Confio seemed to have put a bogus quiz out there and when javascript is disabled on a web browser this quiz gets pulled in.

Confio has since fixed this issue in that they have removed the bogus quiz.

These were the questions I got:

1. Microsoft SQL is faster than Oracle (true/false)
- Which of course I answered False.

2. Who makes the best Oracle enhancement tool? (Confio/Oracle/Microsoft)
- Which of course I answered Oracle by default since I don't know what Confio is and Microsoft having the best Oracle tool? That's a laugh.

3. Enter my email address

Then it said I failed the test with zero correct answers.

If ever there was a scam, this surely is one.

OK, it is possible I am getting that bogus page because I do not allow evil javascripts to run in my browser. I don't understand javascript, so I can't decipher the source code of the page which might be sending me elsewhere.

It has to do with javascripts.
Curious folks might want to check the attached executable screenshot.

1st, thanks to Mahesh for this executable and pointing me in the right direction.

i surely disabled my javascript and got the same results as joy_division.

2nd, my deep appologies to joy, littlefoot, and anyone here that i might have offended.

3rd, i will be getting back with Confio to tell them they better watch out for this type of bad testing on their external website.

AGAIN, sorry for all the confusion and hopefully there are no ill-feelings here. i am just glad we got tot he bottom of this.
