hello
i don't have any information about "Real Application Clusters " or "RAC ENVIRONMENT"
where i can find useful information about that in web?
i refered to "http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14117_01/rac.101/b10765/toc.htm"
but it dont explain concepts
do i must install special version of oracle for creating RAC environment?
for example i don't have SRVCTL tool
or
in above reference in "Administering Services" section written this
"On the DBCA Welcome page, select the Oracle Real Application Clusters option and click Next."
but when i run DBCA (by type dbca in command prompt) in it's welcome page it hasn't
"Oracle Real Application Clusters" option ,why?
thanks

Hi,
Please, first try http://www.oracle.com/database/rac_home.html
There you'll find concepts, demos and free resources.
Second: understand the pre-reqs before installing RAC, the software it's the some, runInsaller detects your configuration before lunching configuration tools.
Last: If does not matter the Oracle version, please try 10.2.0.3 not 9i.
Regards.
