I have just installed oracle and just after completing installation it gave me an option to unlock accounts in password management

I used that option to unlock the accounts by giving a password.

Now after completing that it took me to a web page (control url )

Login to database orcl
Username
Pass

Now what is the username that I should enetr here?

Thanks

Am I wrong, or are you yet another one who reads the manual only when everything else fails?

I *guess* that you installed Oracle Express Edition (did you?). If not, check the documentation related to your database version. Username and password combinations which might work are SYS/CHANGE_ON_INSTALL, SYSTEM/MANAGER, SCOTT/TIGER. If you changed any of them, it is you who should know what you changed along with new passwords.

HI,
Now what is the username that I should enetr here?

If you want to connect ADMINSTRATOR user then SYS as sysdba or SYSTEM.

if normal user "SCOTT".
default SCOTT password is TIGER.
and about sys or system password you already specify during installation.

regards
Taj
