hi to all,
i have installed ORACLE 9i database and ORACLE 9i form builder.i tried to connect the form with my local database. I got this error" ORA-12541: TNS: no listener" . But i can connect with remote server which is in my company. i don`t know how to start
the listener and how to configure.
Can anybody help me?

Through NETCA
or
On command prompt.
c:\>lsnrctl start

But i got this error given below. please tell me how can i solve

Starting tnslsnr: please wait...

Service OracleORACLE9iTNSListener already running.
TNS-12536: TNS:operation would block
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00506: Operation would block
32-bit Windows Error: 997: Unknown error

Hi,

Service OracleORACLE9iTNSListener already running.

Your listener is start. no need to start again.
check YOUR TNS_ADMIN variable is correctly specified.

if not specify like

c:\> set TNS_ADMIN=ORACLE_HOME/network/admin
