Hello Jordan
You must have a special SCSI disk - which ia accesable from all nodes. But you can have RAC using VMWare

Hi
You need 2 serwers/computers and a shared storage - a disk which can be seen by the serwers at the same time and which can work cuncurrent. That'a all.
Next Yoy install RAC and database software

Hi,

In order to use RAC you need share storage, share storage can be provided by high or low cost storage devices, assuming that you're building a RAC just for education purposes I see two ways:
1. Firewire IEEE 1394 Using Linux Red Hat, CentOS.
2. SCSI

This solutions are not supported by Oracle.

Please refer to my under construction blog jose-valerio.blogspot.com, you'll find links to to this.
