Can someone tell me the required role(s) for exporting and importing data within oem10g. See sceen shot. Also, if there is some documentation on this that would be great.

HI,
Put you OS USERNAME OR PASSWORD.
before that grant "LOGON AS AN BATCH" job privs to your OS USERS.
START ---> PROGRAM ---->CONTROL PANEL ---> ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS -> LOCAL SECURITY POLICY -> USER ASSIGNMENT -> LOGON AS AN BATCH JOB.

Thanks Taj. I have created the oem_user, with the logon as an batch job. What role do I need to logon to OEM? I log in currently as sysdba (http://server:1158/em/), but when selecting export or import I get the validation error. See screen shot attached.

Hi,
You cann't export database with SYSDBA USERS
"export and import are not supported on 10g databases for users logged in with the SYSDBA role. Logout and Trying again."

Try with normal user.

Taj, I see the error message. I need the database privileges that I can grant to a user so that this user can log on to the app.
