Please someone help me out.

i configured a OEM repository, started Oracle Management Server OMS, was able to log in to the respository. But on discoverying instances, i was told that inteliigent agent needs to work for auto discovery.

i tried starting intelligent agent...this was what i got

# ./agentctl start

DBSNMP for HPUX: Version 9.2.0.6.0 - Production on 26-JAN-2007 10:50:17

Could not launch agent from dbsnmpwd. errno 2
Message 412 not found; No message file for product=network, facility=nms#

Make sure you have the environment all set.
$ORACLE_HOME is defined and $ORACLE_HOME/bin is in $PATH

i sure have it defined as shown below
$ cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin
$ ls
adapters imp onrsd
agentctl impO onrsd0
agentctl0 jpub onrsdO
agtctl kgmgr oracg

or is there anything i should do?

Hi innocent4mi,

were you able to solve your issue. I am having exactly the same issue as you have starting the "agentctl". Please help if you had your issue solved. thanks...
