I was wondering if someone could give me some advice. I have been out of the IT field for almost 5 years. Before I left the field I was an Oracle DBA for 5 years and Software Tester for 4 years. I really want to get back into the field and need to know what to do. Could someone, preferably a Sr. Oracle DBA, give me advice as to what to do to get my foot back in the door. I know that once I am back in the field I will have no problem. Although it seems like no one wants to give me a chance. Currently I am located in the Atlanta, GA Metro area and don't plan on moving for awhile. Thank you for reading this and all assistance.
