Hi Gurus,
I am trying to duplicate database from rman backup to remote host. I don't have passwd for sys user on auxiliary instance (only for system user). According to defined steps for duplicate database, database on auxiliary host has to be in nomount mode. Besides, the last step in duplication process is connect to auxiliary using the following command
RMAN>connect auxiliary sys/passwd@connect_string
Is it possible to change password for sys user if the database is in nomount mode or has anybody idea how to solve this problem. I have to mention that on auxiliary host exists the second instance but it doesn't work because bad backup.
Best regards and please help me..
Zeki
