Hello,
What is the parallel_max_servers parameter? What is it for?
I am creating oracle 10g databases via a shell script - after the script is finished and the instance & database have been created, i get an alert log for that database which says "Adjusting the default value of the parameter parallel_max_servers".
I do not have this parameter set in my init.ora, so I'm wondering why I am getting this alert log. Where could the problem be?
Thanks.

Quoting the same document, Oracle will derive a default value based on some other settings and duly notifies it alert log.
