Hi All,
I get blank when I try to see the sql query for work sheet of a particular discoverer report using View->Sql Inspector.
But when I login to same reponsibility and try to view sql code for another report, I am able to see the query.

Any suggestions to trace out why it is happening?

Thanks in Advance,
Sreedevi.

Hi Sreedevi,

Did you let the worksheet run for a little while? If you go to the SQL inspector too soon, it will not have generated the code yet.

Sabine

Hi Sabine,
Thanks for your reply. I have checked for sql query after getting the output.
The report was shared to me by the owner of report. I now came to know that the owner of the report is able to see the sql query using sql inspector.
I think I am unable to see the query because I am not the owner of it.
Thanks,
Sreedevi.

Tried to reproduce this using Discoverer desktop version 10.1.2.1. But sharing doesn't have any effect, I can still see the sql generated.
What version are you working with?
