All,
I have an application (Cognos version version8) running on a 9ir2 database. the performance is appalling. Does anyone have experince of tuning Cognos applications. I can get hold of a
statspack report if required.

Is the problem with refreshing the cubes or querying the cubes?

Hi,
I have no idea what cubes are, sorry. I have just been asked to look at a badly performing database. I guess from what you say that there could be more to the issue than just the DB, there mau be some cognos set-up which could be casuing the problem
