Hi:

Who can tell me if there is any issue if we will have a distributed transaction for two oracle databases with a firewall between? If yes, how should we do (or configure the firewall) so the transaction can work smoothly?

Thanks,

JD

If the firewall passes all SQL*Net traffic through (bidirectional), you will not have any problems. To test if this is the case, create a database links from A to B and B to A and test.

PS: Firewall configuration depends on the type and version of firewall software being used.
