Hi all

I have set sga_max_size, sga_target parameters to 950M and
increased the value of log_buffer parameter to 10MB from 7MB seperately. will that cause any performance degradation..

Please clarify on this.

Thanks

Hi,

You can generate statspack report for interval of 15 to 30 minutes & check.

What is your oracle version?
In most cases log_buffere more 1mb is just a waste.
