Hi Team,

In our environment we are facing the heavy latch free events during the migh night. I want to know how to find out the reason for this latch free occurance.

Please let me know the procedures/sql queries that helps to find the culprits for it

> Check v$session_wait for any "latch free..." event and inspect the P2 column for the latch#.

> Get the latch name from v$latchname.

Then you will get to know which latch contention is happening...
