Hi

We have a plan to install oracle10g on solaris10.At Present we have Solaris9 with oracle9i.I just want to know
the below things:

1.Is Oracle10g is compatible with Solaris10?
2.Is oracle10g is compatible with Solaris9?
3.Is Oracle9i is compatible with Solaris10?
4.If #1 is true then, what will be system parameters i have to set?
5.If #2 is true then, what will be system parameters i have to set?
6.If #3 is true then, what will be system parameters i have to set?(i.e.shared memory..)
7.What will be the fastest way to copy the data from the database residing on solaris9 to the new box solaris10?so that i can minimize the downtime.
8.Can i use the DataGuard to do the same?
9.Is it possible to migrate the database (without data loss)on oracle9i to oracle10g?If yes please tell me the steps to be followed.

Please share your knowledge. Thanks in advance and sorry for the long mail.
