Dear friends,
I finished my graduation in Mechanical Eng. on 2004.Currently im working with IISc,Bangalore.I have only non IT exp. and now im interested in doing oracle DBA 10g.Im planning to do the course in oracle,Bangalore itself.
Is placement is guaranteed for me who has a non-IT background?
Is it really tough for a person to get the OCP certification who
has a non-IT background?
I will be really thankful if somebody replies for my queries.
With regards,
Arun

Thats a million dollar question. I cannot answer it.

Could be 'tough' even for a regular IT person.
Depends on how much effort you put.
What is your priority?
Getting ceritified and walkaway with a piece of paper or
Understanding things, gain confidence and start a new career?
For former, best methods are question banks/dumps etc.
For later all you need is documentation, oracle software and a decent PC to pratice with.

May i ask why?
Regards and Best of hard-work
