Hi All,
We have set-up an Oracle database and want to use a Crystal engine to pull extracts from the data base. Before you ask, No, we can not use Discoverer.
So the issue is that the business wants to use Access or Excel. What is the best way of getting Crystal to pull an Extract from Oracle and then let Access or Excel pull from this Extract to build reports. Again we can not use Crystal for all users due to licensing amongst other idiosyncrasies here.
In short our constraints are we can not use Discoverer, we can not give the entire business Crystal and we need to run reports in Access or Excel.
Just to add the complexity our data base has 20 tables and 6 years of data in it. What is the Access and or Excel limit.
