Hi there.

Is there any chance to complie C code with Pro*C under Linux with an Oracle Express Edition installation ? I have installed both XE server and XE client but I do not see any sign of sqllib and proc.mk.

Would it be a viable option to develop with a standard 10g client and deploy on a machine with an XE client ?

I read that 10.1 was the last release with Pro*C and that it was no longer in 10.2. Is this true ? Does this mean that I should use a different language for future compatibility (java, PHP, etc) ?

Thanks in advance.
