In 8i i am getting this error Listener startup

Would u Plz resolve This its Very urgent

Hi,

Kindly chek for user ID and password for the same and also check whether you can login using the cnnect utlity from client systen

also check the permissin for the Lister.ora file

hi

check ur host in listener.ora file specified in "ip address" instead of "name".
if specified in name then change to ip address.

and
check ur database services is start.
