hi
pls provide me with info on
Identifying the bottlenecks at the Database and as well as at Operating System which includes Memory utilization, I/O, CPU consumption, Identifying the SQL’s that can be tuned etc

Analyzing the database performance at peak hours and resolving the bottlenecks using tools like SQL Trace, Trace Analyzer, Statspack.

Try the tool 'TOAD for oracle' for trace and execution plans.
Also you can use query viewer, script debugger and codexpert.
