Dear ALL,

We have the oracle database (9.2) sitting on unix box and we got the client connect from window. Client and unix box are on their separate network. Now you have a sqlplus session and if you dont do any thing, the connection dies out on client window box. However the clients all belong to default profile where all resources are unlimited. Also on server side, the sqlnet.ora does not have pesky sqlnet.expire_time settings.

So why the connection is getting error out. Is window has some some parameter which is giving this trouble. Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks.
