Hi , I need help please, I have a cold backup script which doesn't work. What am I doing wrong.

1. Select recent datafiles in a spool file
2. I want to shutdwon the database
3. Copy datafiles from spool file to onother location
4. Startup the database

Attach plse find script

You can do a hot backup without shuting down the database.
