Hi,
My application is in VB6 and connected to Oracle database via Microsoft ODBC for Oracle driver.
Previously, I had no problem with the connection until I changed to a new notebook.
I encountered an error when trying to open the connection. The error did not show much, only some numbers & [Microsoft ODBC for Oracle].
I have another similar application & it works fine.
Any idea why the other one is not working?
It seems that the only difference is that the version of the driver for the one not working is later than the one(in the old notebook) which is working.

The number might be the Oracle error, so please provide details like this.
Try to use the Oracle ODBC driver instead. The MS one is well... not developed by Oracle....
